“The Jr. Academy” |
|
The Jr. Academy is a program designed for Six (6) Seven (7) Eight (8) and Nine (9) year old recreational players who want additional quality training. The Jr. Academy will not replace the recreational program, but provides an opportunity for additional training from licensed Academy and Select coaches at AFUSA. The purpose of the program is to provide a solid foundation for players who love the game to build upon. The Jr. Academy prepares players for the AFUSA Academy and Select programs, which becomes available to them at Eight (8) and Nine (9) years of age. Our challenging training sessions are a key
ingredient to the personal development of the player. Fun activities
are designed to maximize comfort with the ball and vision of the field.
Each training activity will help players improve technically (skills),
tactically (decision making), physically (fitness), and psychologically
(mental toughness). |
