Field Marshal Program
General Guidelines and Duties

Information Book contains Maps and Game Schedules

  1. Wear Orange Vest (these vests identify you as a Field Marshal should a member need).
  2. Sign in on the Field Marshal Schedule located in the manual.
  3. Carry Information Book with you to help you easily answer questions.
  4. Walk around all fields
  5. Help all who are in need of assistance.
First Shift
  1. Help in coordinating all goals to game positions on the fields.
  2. Ensure that corner flags are on all fields.
  3. Check to see if all goals have sand bags excluding the PVC pipe goals.
  4. Do not allow games to start if they are not secure with sandbags. Alert the referee/coach of this problem.
  5. Monitor games and notify Atlanta Fire United officials of the following:
      1. No show of referees
      2. Unruly spectators (DO NOT confront)
      3. Bulletin board at George Pierce Park located between the lower and middle field contains information that members may be looking for.
  6. Picture Schedules
  7. Game Schedules
  8. Concession and Field Marshal Schedules
  9. Patrol grounds-pick up trash and empty trashcans as necessary.
  10. Place this binder and vest back in the cubicles near the concession stand at George Pierce Park or the concession stand at Scott Hudgens for the next field marshal.

Middle Shift:

Check bathroom floors and sweep if necessary. The floors have been a problem for the county and we could lose our privileges if not kept orderly.

  1. Monitor games and notify Atlanta Fire United officials of the following:
      1. No show of referees
      2. Unruly spectators (DO NOT confront)
  2. Bulletin board contains information that members may be looking for or also inside this binder.
      1. Picture schedules
      2. Game schedules
      3. Concession and Field Marshal schedules
  3. Patrol grounds-pick up trash and empty trashcans as necessary.
  4. Place this binder and vest back in the cubicles near the concession stand at George Pierce Park or the concession stand at Scott Hudgens for the next field marshal.

Last Shift of the Day:
