Hudgens Cup Recreational Championship

After every Spring season, the Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association holds the Hudgens Cup Recreational Tournament. The tournament is a single elimination tournament held the week after the final U10 and older Spring season game. Teams are invited based on their record and the game space available. The two teams playing in the finals are awarded a Championship and Finalist recognition based on the outcome of the final game. The Championship team is awarded the Hudgens Cup which they are allowed to keep until the following spring season.

This tournament is named in honor of Mr. Scott Hudgens. Mr. Hudgens was a generous benefactor of our club. He provided us with a location to play our games at the beginning of our existence and donated the Rivergreen fields so that they could be developed for soccer use. We are thankful for Mr. Hudgens and are honored that our tournament and fields at Scott Hudgens Park (fka Rivergreen) are named in his honor.
